I gave Rex an oreo the other day and I noticed that he's devised his own way to eat it.
Step 1 - Break the cookie apart.
Step 2 - Use your index finger to scoop out and eat the filling.
Step 3 - Assure yourself that you have removed every little bit of filling possible.
Step 4 - Tell mommy you're done.
He won't even touch the cookie part anymore. He knows what's good 'cause Momma didn't raise no fool.

Hey Cheri thats so funny and rex is not a fool he is so smart and cute.
You are lucky her doesn't just put them back together and back in the package like aunt Ole did. Of course his cookie doesn't look good enough for someone who is starving! There is truly an art to eating Oreos and Dad and I will be anxious to try them again in the future.
I'm so glad that he was raised knowing the pure goodness of oreos. Next time try double stuffed. He need a big glass of milk to dunk in if you expect him to eat the crust.
