Beware of Sharks...

Aunt Jodi and Max sent this adorable jammie set that says "beware of sharks," since Max has a shark obsession. Here's the full body shot.

You might notice that the shark and Rex have the same hair-do.

Rex's cheeks just keep filling out...which means there's more of him to squeeze!

Weekend Fun...

I love the weekends because we get more time to hang out as a family. Here's Rex and his daddy hanging out together on the couch. Jeff is a great daddy.

We went to Aunt Kate and Uncle Dave's to celebrate Autumn and Lauren's birthdays. (I meant to make more pictures, but forgot.) Here's a goofy picture of Rex, but a really cute one of Kate. He loved snuggling with her.

He Smiles!!!

Rex has turned into quite the smiley boy. I finally caught a pretty good one on the camera. Here it is in slow motion...

Jammie Time!

I absolutely love seeing babies in their jammies. When Rex is in his it makes me want to snuggle him even more.

Here's the full shot. Rex and I are big fans of sleeper sacks. (Thank you Aunt Diane for this cute ducky one.) When he has a binky in his mouth it reminds me of Maggie from the Simpsons.

Mom, if you take one more picture of me...

I was playing with Rex today and I realized I don't really have any pictures of he and I together, so I got out my computer (which has a camera on it). We took a couple pictures.

I can't give the little guy enough kisses.

Then Rex decided to tell me what he thought of me taking so many pictures of him. Eeewwww...I saw him spit up as we took the picture because I was watching the computer screen. Pretty funny. It's a good thing he's so cute!

My Little Roadie...

I had my first post-baby gig this weekend. The concert went well. Here's a picture of the two best looking men in the audience.

Black and Whites...

I wanted to try my hand at photography the other day, so I set Rex on the bed and started getting camera-happy. Here are my favorite two shots:

I just love baby feet! I saw a picture like this in the hospital, so I thought I'd try to take one like it.

He was such a good boy to let me take all those pictures without whining about it. Most of the time he just gave me this innocent look.

Smiles...

Rex is getting pretty good at smiling. However, I'm not quite as good at catching it on camera. Here's half a smile I caught. It features his growing cheeks and his excited eyes. His smiles make the whole mom thing worth it.

My Mini-Man...

Everyone says Rex looks more like a mini-man than a baby, so here are some pictures our mini-man. Lec, I thought you'd like to see how cute he looks in this shirt you got him.

These first two faces show his resemblance to his father.

These 0-3 month jeans already look like little floods on him and he's only 5 and a half weeks!

His hair refuses to lay flat, but I look it crazy anyhow. It shows his little personality.

My Silly Monkey...

Here are a couple of shots of little Rex. Just like the shirt says, he is a silly monkey. He hates it when I wrap his arms in tight. He always fights till he gets them out so he can flail them around like a little monkey. (Thank you Aunt Malinda for this adorable outfit and blanket.)

The sweet little face I never get tired of. I think his eyes might very slowly be starting to change if you look closely.

Rex's Blessing

Today was Rex's blessing. It was a special day. He looked like a little star in his tiny white suit.
