Here are a few pics from the Heaton family Easter egg hunt we had at our house on Saturday.
The little ones get a head start. You can tell that Rex is still trying to figure out what's going on.

Then it's "ready, set, go" for the big kids.

There were lots of places to hide the eggs in our yard.

Tanyon hunted so well that he found random items from the old home owners.

Is it just me or is that guy on the right a little too old for the hunt? He's helping Cam....
sure.

We did run into a little rain during the hunt...

...which meant all the adults watched from the windows.

The hunt was a success.

It was so fun to have everyone over. It was our first get-together at our new house. Thanks everyone for coming and helping out so much!

The pictures of the kids are great. You also showed how great your yard is. Thank you for all your hard work and allowing ALL of us to come.
AH how fun is that!! Cute boy, he is getting so big and cute!!!
Hey - those kids look familiar. I especially like the picture of Autumn running and her bag flying in the wind . . . I know those Heaton egg hunts are serious business!
The hostess with the mostest! Love the hunt-- those are awesome.
Thanks we had a blast as usual! Cam couldn't wait for the big egg hunt day to come!
It looks like you had so much fun. Your yard looks really cool! I'm excited to see your new house next time I'm in Utah, and your new baby! You're getting there Cher. I'm almost there and am very ready to be done. This baby is so low that I can't even do the dishes without doing this weird leaning thing that is really kind of uncomfortable. ANYWAY...
I meant to post a comment on your blog last week in relation to the post you had about Rex eating an oreo. I have no doubt that Inge would do exactly the same thing. She always selects the sweet thing to lick off and then leaves the rest (licks icing off cake, leaves the cake; licks peanut butter and jelly off the bread and leaves the bread, etc.)
Anyway, I hope that you have a great day!
Yes, that was a fun day! To bad I didn't get any candy!
Looks like another successful Easter! Mom was thrilled to have it in your new yard. I heard it was great. Wish we were there to add some competition for those older kiddos.
