We all love you so much Cam Cam! Happy Birthday!Rex has been eating for about a month now and prunes have been his favorite. However, today things took a sharp turn. He's becoming more opinionated (possibly like his father) and he's anxious to voice those opinions. While I didn't catch it on video, he also gags when he doesn't like something. Here's a video from today - the day prunes became disgusting.
Jeff let Rex try out his bike yesterday. He's breaking him in already. I think he's still got a little while until he'll be reaching the pedals.
Seeing that his mother is a clean freak, I had to teach him he could lick his fingers off. She always wipes them, but then you miss the extra cheesy licks. Yum!
We didn't put the full number of candles on (since he's a little sensitive about it).
He blew out all the candles. He's still got it!
Then he single-handedly ate the whole thing. (Okay, not really, but it made for a better story. He ate a sliver and we've got tons left so come on over and eat some.)
I hung on tight from there on and I'm never letting you go. You're stuck with my forever!

We rented a convertible to make the most of the whole so-cal experience.
We even drove up as far as you can to the sign. There are homes all packed in all the way up. It's crazy!

Rex doesn't quite have his limbs under control yet, so sometimes he swats Cam a little. Then Cam leans as far away from Rex as he can and yells, "No, Rexito! No, Rexito!" Chris started calling Rex that when he was first born and now Cam won't call him anything but that. It sounds funny coming from him, though.
You know how kids think the same thing is funny over and over again? Well, Cam has been doing his fake sleep routine for months now. However, I must say that I still think it's hilarious. Here's how it typically goes:

Jeff disputed this outfit today, but mommy won. I thought the mini-bowtie was hilarious. He had his fourth haircut a couple of days ago. He's a happy, drooling machine.
I don't try to make Rex and I match, but sometimes I dress him and myself according to how I'm feeling that day. Here's our tech vest day.
He's trying so hard to sit up on his own, but he's still pretty wobbley. The shirt he's wearing is hilarious. It says, "Trike Races at 3 o'clock." I love it when he has anything related to bikes, since Jeff is so into them.
I also love this stylin' hat. Thank goodness for great hand-me-downs. (Thanks Cam!)
My big, solid boy has also already outgrown the limits for his carrier. That means I now have to put him in a coat and try to prop him up in all the grocery carts with blankets. Cam was really excited to ride with Rex for the first time at Cosco yesterday. He held his hand all through the store and showed him the ropes.

Chloe was the princess of every party. She no longer gives her famous scowl, but has recently replaced it with her cheesy smile. It's super cute and easily wins anyone over.
