I try to have a project to always be working on. It helps me feel more like I'm not just a professional butt-wiper. This is a project I've been meaning to do for a long time. I took some of my old clothing I don't wear anymore and cut it up to make a quiet book for Rex. Don't look too closely - it was an experiment and my sewing is far from perfect.

It has a lot of little pockets to put things in, which is exactly what Rex is into. He's always carrying around random small items and stuffing them into his pockets.

Eventually he can practice tying a bow (but we're a ways away from that one).

The goal is to help him be a little more quiet in church. We'll see how that one plays out :)

I bought this glass thing on clearance a month ago and Jeff has been making fun of me for not doing anything with it. Well, I now have it filled with potpourri and a pumpkin for the autumn season. It makes me happy. I love autumn.

You amaze me! You always have the best ideas! I love the quiet book. I'm sure he'll love stuffing it with things. If you want him to really be into it you should hide a few pieces of candy in it for him to find during church. I love the centerpiece. I actually saw one similar to that in a magazine so it's way hip! Nice work wonderwoman!
Professional butt-wiper my butt!
Kassy has said it all!
Seriously-- you are so stink'in artsy talented!!! Really! I am amazed at the stuff you create. Cool book. My attempt at a quiet book was a lot more lame & crooked. Great job! Love the pumpkin too!
Awesome.. I love the book idea and the centerpiece. Very cool. I wish I was creative like that. I'll just stick with being a really GOOD butt-wiper ;)
