Yee-haw!!!

Let me introduce you to Rex the Cowboy. He's got of lots of personality. He will let me take a few pictures of him if I stuff him full of candy while taking the shots, but he still won't smile.
Smiles or not - I still think he's the cutest cowboy I've ever seen.
Here he is ready to make an arrest.
Rex actually now has a cowboy theme room. Pictures and debut still to come. It's all ready, but I'm keeping him in his nursery a little longer because I like the fact that he can't get out of his crib. What age did all of you let your kids switch to a bed?

LOVE the Cowboy pics! He is too cute!
Sam was 14 months out of the crib. Madi was a little older....I think 16 months. Grant was a whole different story (3 1/2). I know some people keep their kids in a crib a long time. It makes total sense. Not quiet sure why I didn't with Madi. With Sam, I was expecting Madi, so I didn't want him to remember his crib and be jealous. Good luck whenever you decide to transition him! Love you all!

Howdy Partner! He looks heehawin' terrific! I love the horsey. I took my kids out at about 14 months. Breckyn was way earlier for obvious reasons. I started with a matress on the floor or a bed rail. Good luck. You'll be roundin' up that cowboy every night for a while when he realizes he can escape. I suggest you purchase a lasso....

You were here for when I switched Cam into a big boy bed. He was about 17 old. Bring on the bed partner! Although Cam will be sad to see his cowboy room get used by someone other than him!

Madi's "real" blog is:
Madsmitty.blogspot.com
The other one didn't go real well, so she started her own a while back.

I definitely agree that Rex is the cutest cowboy ever!!! Sophie is still in her crib and I don't plan on taking her out until I can get a door knob on the door!!!! That is Josh's department and it's taking forever!

What a cutie! I can't wait to see Halloween pics of all the kiddies! Keep him in the crib as long as you can-once they are out..the party is OVER! Mine were pretty good about not getting out of their bed (probably because I was laying by their bed or something to keep them in - hee-hee) I wouldn't be in too big of a rush! He's precious!

Just a hair higher with the camera and I would have thought it was a real hoese instead of the rocking hourse! He is so cute on that. I am not sure how long he will go along with the picture taking though.
