Jeff and I got invited to a fun Halloween party Saturday night. It was great. We didn't have any costumes a couple of hours before hand, so Jeff got the job of picking some up while he was out. He brought me home a "sexy pirate costume." I'd say I'm nore of a feisty pirate.
Jeff also went in pirate attire. 
Who knew he could look so great with an earring?
It was a fun evening with fantastic food and good company.

You guys look like a fun party. Note to Cheri-- NEVER LET THE MAN PICK OUT THE COSTUMES! Although he did pretty well. At least you weren't something sluttier like a french maid. I'd bet money he debated that one for a while....

You both look great. Is this the same Saturday we saw you? Why did you not let us take Rex home with us so you could rest before the party and pick him up after, after the party. Are these rented costumes or yours to keep? They both fit so well. What cute pirates. Although I have to go with Malinda. You do look better than Jeff. I still love ya Jeff.

I think your costumes are great! I didn't take my kids out of the crib until I had too. I found these great beds at IKEA that are in between a crib size and a twin (youth size). They also have a rail that keeps the kiddies inside the bed while sleeping but make it easy to get in and out. They are the same width as a crib but 12 inches longer. Willow (oldest) I switched at about 2 when I got prego with Poppy. Poppy got to stay in her crib until we moved and I bought Phoenix a new crib and he stayed in it until he was 31/2 when I got pregnant with Lily. Remember toddler put more wear and tear on a crib getting in and out of it so if you want/plan on using it for a while switch earlier than I did.
