I played around with some editing stuff on some of the pictures from the previous shoot. Here they are.

High on a Mountain Top

I was talking to Cassie yesterday about how I would love to learn more about photography and she said she'd let me shoot her boys. So, we headed up the canyon today with a camera and a picnic. Here's some of my favorite shots. The problem is, when you love someone, you think every shot is adorable. I had a hard time picking just a couple.

Here's little Cooper bundled in white.

He is a sweet baby and his mommy is in love.
She is also in love with this little red head.
Cam thought this bridge over the water was pretty cool.
I'm pretty crazy about the little red head, too.

Here's a couple more of Coop. There was this perfect little beam of light on his soft face.
So soft.
Cam was a real trooper. He let me take lots of pictures and he even smiled on command!

Happy Birthday Rex!!!

It doesn't seem like he could be possibly be a year old, but at the same time it's hard to remember life without the little man. We are so grateful for the joy he has brought into our lives...more than I ever could have imagined. Here's one great year in a glance.

Tiny Toes

I used to absolutely hate feet. I freaked out when people touched me with them. Now, I have a set of feet that I can't get enough of. I love how Rex crosses his little feet wherever he sits. I took this picture while he was sitting on my lap. By the time he gets to be a sweaty teenager, I have a feeling his feet might not be so cute to me anymore.

My Little Sunshine

Well, it's been a long day. Jeff and I both got what Rex had. Now I feel even worse for him. It was bad. Rather than post a picture of how horrible we look, I thought I'd post one I edited for fun while I was stuck on the couch. Here's my little sunshine.

My Poor Baby

Rex caught something and spent all Sunday doing what most people do over the toilet. Since he doesn't know that's the designated location, Jeff and I spent a lot of time cleaning the house/carpet/crib/sheets/rug/couch/high chair/etc. Today he kept everything down, but he only wanted to snuggle all day. Out of pity I let him have his binky all day. He carried it around with his mini-wooby. Here's my poor little guy.

He would just randomly lay on my leg. He wasn't quite himself. While cleaning up after him wasn't my favorite, I did enjoy all the snuggling.
