I've been sneaking down to my craft room whenever I get a chance lately. I've become obsessed with designing new things and having a project. Here are a few of my latest creations.
Wrangler Rex. I love shirts with the cowboy cut, but all the designer shirts like this are way more than I would ever spend on a shirt. So, I bought this regular polo at Target and sewed on the paisley print and the shoulder strips.
The back is my favorite part.
For Baden I did the same thing, but his was just a t-shirt to start with and he had a big stain on the front top. I sewed on a mock collar and then added the cowboy look.
Once again, my favorite part is the back.
Here's my latest creation. I love all the cute, trendy dresses with the high waist band and belt, but they are all VERY short. I made my own, using an old shirt I had that had become too short. I cut it off and sewed on this fabric as a skirt. I made it long enough to be modest, yet still keeping the trendy, sassy look. The fabric was a remnant at the store, so it was only $1.99. Then I added a chunky belt. Tadaaaaahhh!

Cheri, you are so talented! I LOVE that dress you made and the shirts are freakin' adorable. And you are such a gorgeous girl. If I didn't already know how awesome you are and love you, I'd hate you. :)
Those are so cutie! I love that you came up with a boy way to embelish a shirt. I've been struggling with new ideas for the boys. You nailed it! The dress is great. I love the cut. I've been wanting to try one like that for the girlies. You are very inspiring. I can't wait to craft with you.
