the "F"s of Summer

Well, the summer is coming to an end. Rex and I have played a lot and learned a lot. Here are some of the things we've figured out:
Rex is now old enough to have stinky little feet. He has one pair of sandals that fits him well and they happen to make the stink factor even worse. You have to clear the room when he takes them off :)
Rex has become more and more boy-like. He loves banging things together, wrestling around, and even falling (unless it's an accident).
Rex doesn't spend a lot of time walking places. He likes to run, even though his funny little run doesn't get him there that much faster. I love to watch it, though.
It's been a good summer. We're glad to have Baden in our club now and it's helped Rex learn to play alone more.
Sometimes I wish he was big enough to do certain things, but then I see his sweet smiling face and I wish that he will stay this way forever. I love you, little man.

I LOVE that little face and his stinky feet! I especially like to chase him and make him run just to see it.

I love the water prints too. I was thinking how creative that was... you really rock at this picture thing. I can't believe how big your little men have gotten over the summer. I feel school close in the horizon.

Why aren't Baden's prints in there? I love the whole post. I can tell that it will be a really hard day when you take Rex to school as he gets older. It is wonderful to be loved like that!
