Projects, Projects, Projects!!!

I absolutely love having a project to work on. (I get that from my parents.) Well, Rex has been taking some nice, long naps the last couple of days, so I've been really productive. Here's what I've been up to:
I made these frames. Now that there are such cute scrapbook papers available, decoupaging is kind of a cool option. I wanted something funky and fun for our bedroom and we didn't have any pictures of Rex up in our house yet. I printed a few in sepia tone.
Here's a better look at a couple of them.

Then, I started working on this shirt. These plain t-shirts were on sale at Target for $5, so I decided to pretend I work for Anthropology and I sewed some stuff onto it. I used scraps from old shirts I was getting rid of. I've been wanting to try this for a while because I love all those Billabong-type shirts with stuff sewn on.
Lastly, I have been wanting to find a way to utilize a lot of the pictures I've been taking, so I copied an idea I saw on a friend of a friend's blog and made an "ABC" book for Cam and Rex. Here are a couple of the pages.

That's it for now and Rex just woke up. Perfect timing!

Look at you!!!! You never cease to amaze me with your talent! I LOVE the picture frames. And I need to make some cute shirts with you when I am back in Utah! Keep it up!
I was telling Mom how much I love your new camera. Your pictures are so clear. You really have an eye for what is going to turn out.

So cute and what Malinda said, never cease to amaze me. I could use one of those pictures in my house. The one with Dad and son.

I'm super excited about the ABC books too. I love the frames and I'm in line for the next few. I've got just the spot for them. I'm totally going to try your sewing thing because I have some favorite shirts that have had some accidents and holes put in them (from the kids) and that's a great way to "save" them from D.I. Thanks for the great ideas!

Hey Cheri you have some fab ideas. I love the shirt. I can totally do that! Leca and I talked about the it seems simpler than it really is factor! You know where you look at something and think I can do that. Then you get it home and realize... Oh no I CAN'T do that. :0) I love the picture of Rex with the bow tie sitting on the ground! It's beautiful! Here's another idea for pictures. My mom took a whole bunch of pictures of all the cousins and relatives and made a matching card game (memory game) out of them. She took the pictures and then fixed them to card stock. She also put some stamps on the back side. Then she laminated them all. They love them! There's one of Catherine(tims other sis) and Greg kissing and if you get that pair you automatically win a prize. (It's hilarious)It's also a great way to remember cousins, grandma's and grandpa's that live far away.
