I got tagged again by my sister Aleca. My instructions are to tell you 7 random, interesting things about myself. Here we go:
1) I go through food phases. I pick a food that sounds good and it's all I want to eat for every meal again and again and again. Then I get sick of it and don't eat it for a long period of time. My husband is the exact opposite, so I've had to learn to make something different for dinner every night. If he's out of town I get back into my one-food groove.2) If I could have any job, it would be something different every month. I would love to be a figure skate, then a dancer, then a beautician, then a photographer, then a dental hygenist, then an interior designer...etc. I'm not saying a have a gift for any of these things, but I would love to learn about a lot of different things. (I guess I picked the best job ever because I'm a mom and I get to be all those things to someone....well, not the ice skating part, but pretty much everything else.)
3) I've never had and never will have a manicure. My nails have always been short for piano or guitar and frankly, I can't stand having any nails. It makes me feel dirty.
4) I own (as does my husband) an adult size sleeper. You know, the footy jammies you put babies in? I believe it's the most comfortable thing I've ever worn and sometimes I stay in it all morning and refuse to answer the door if someone knocks. (Only family is allowed to see me in it. It's seriously ugly.)
5) I believe that once every week or two (depending on your situation) everyone should go a day without showering. (Aleca will disown me as a sister for saying this.) I enjoy having a day every once in a while when I clean everything on my house and get all my dirty work done. I don't shower. I throw on a hat if I have to leave the house. I get everything done and the next day a shower feels so wonderful and my house is all in order.
6) I know coveting is wrong, but there is something I covet about each of my sisters. Jodi and Cassie have naturally curly hair that I'm sure I was supposed to get. I've curled mine a lot, I've tried perms, and I prayed that pregnancy would change it, but my hair is naturally straight/frizzy. Aleca got the name I covet. Don't get me wrong, I love my name, (especially because of who I'm named after) but I've always envied Aleca's beautiful Greek name.
7) I get emotionally invested in TV and movies. This is weird, but when I watch a show I think about the characters and their situations as if they are real people I know. I worry about them afterwards and think about what they should do in their lives. I can't stop watching any movie in the middle because I find it emotionally stressful not to know what happened to them. I have to be careful not to get into too many shows because of this. (For the record, we watch Lost, Battlestar Galatica, Friday Night Lights, and Heroes. I might also watch a stupid MTV show called the Hills with my sister Cassie :)
Well, that's it. Those are some of the weird idiosyncrisies that make up Cheri. If you're reading this, consider yourself tagged and write your own list.

Come on I have to agree with all of those but I was looking for a really new weird one that I have never heard before! I guess that's not really possible since I'm always with you! :)
I love your list! I also knew all of these quirks but I love that you admited them. I too don't shower when I get all of my dirty work done-- BUT, when I'm finished then I shower. No waiting until the next day for me. As for the name thing-- thank you. It will now be my life goal to think of a new fun name for you. I'm naturally on board with the food train-- it was bread into us I believe. Being a new job every month is also my secret dream. But, being a mom you will use all of those even the iceskating because at some point one of your children will want to learn and you will be forced to teach them yourself because well, Jeff doesn't seem like the figure skating type. I love you and all of your quirks. Thanks for making me smile.
alright, alright. I've read all of the Magill sister lists. Besides for Jodi the square who won't blog. I'll try to work on mine!
I agree with you on the whole "nail" thing. Your hair is beautiful. If it was curly, you would want it straight. Isn't that the way it goes? As far as the shower situation~ YOU GO GIRL!!!
