Jeff has been in Denver for the last five days on business. Rex and I were bummed that he wasn't going to be around until Jeff called late Friday afternoon. He said he was going to have two free days over the weekend and he wanted us to fly out. We found a cheap ticket and off we went that night! We had a great time there together. Here are some pictures from "Boo at the Zoo" that we went to.
Jeff and Rex in the tropical area. As you can see, Rex was really into it. (For the not so casual observer, I think Jeff either had to go to the bathroom or he was practicing his pop-out-the-hip pose from America's Top Model.)

Jeff conquered Denver, navagating us perfectly to each location. (Which is a great thing, since I'm directionally challenged.) It was a great weekend, but it's also great to home.

You look so Mommyish with your new do! I love it. I'm glad you got to get away and keep Jeff company. I hate to hear that you are alone ever-- so I was excited to hear that you tagged along. Wait to be spontaneous!
PS- petting the bears is a bad idea-- just a thought...
I am so glad that you got to go. Rex looks like a different baby with his hair changes. he is a doll and I am sure that you didn't mind the snuggles! Hope Jeff's test went awesome!
