We're leaving tomorrow for Florida. We're going to visit Jeff's sister for Christmas. Anyhow, here's a little blog-Christmas card for all of you.
Rex the reindeer....filling out his antlers more now than he was then.
I am so grateful for our newest little star. 2009 was good to us.

Santa came Friday night. Here's a little clip of half-asleep-Rex seeing the tree with presents under it for the first time. I love hearing his little voice, especially when he's all excited.

Temple Square

Christmas has been SO fun this year because Rex is starting to understand so much more. He was really excited to see the lights at the temple. It was so beautiful.....but very cold.
They even have a little nativity in the reflecting pool and it has little floating candles in it.
We had to bundle the boys up extra well. This little guy was a trooper.
Yes, my classic shot. You see, when the boys are longer willing to let me take their pictures, I drag behind and secretly take more. I love seeing Rex's little face over Jeff's shoulder.
Then, we headed home to get ready for Santa. He came that night at our request, since we'll be out of town on Christmas. It was so fun to get everything ready and just to sit on the couch with just the Christmas lights on.
I have a billion more things to post. I have some projects to show, some quirkly Rex details to share, and much more. Stay tuned.

Christmas Cards Anyone?

So, I've had our Christmas cards sitting on the table for a few weeks now. Whoops! Things have been quite busy. Anyhow, if you'd like me to send you one, please e-mail your address to me at cheri@cherimagill.com. Yeah, that's kind of tacky, but I don't have a lot of addresses. Thanks!

I'm Alive.

Now that the boutique is over life can continue. Cassie did a great job of pulling everything together and it was a lot of fun. Anyhow, here's a picture from last week. We had to put the kids to work while we crafted, you know. Cam has a special love for this little guy even though we didn't name him "Monster Truck Guy" as he had requested.

Suburban Chic

I've been quite busy lately. Why, you ask? I've been crafting my butt off for this:
Don't worry, I have plenty of butt left. Anyhow, my sister Cassie is going to have a boutique at her house next week Saturday. We are REALLY hoping for a good turnout, so if you live in Utah or know someone who does, PLEASE spread the word. We have even created a blog to give everyone more information. Click here for a sneak preview of the various sellers. Did I mention that you should tell everyone you know? Yeah, that would be great. Thanks!

Real Life....with my boys.

This is what I'm working with folks. While this little guy is usually pretty chipper, he's been a bit challenging lately. If he had it his way, he would never nap, stay in his Transformer jammies all day, eat only fruit snacks, and watch TV all day. Yes, that's Rex's utopia. Here he is sporting an always-fashionable-milk-mustache and a sweet look for mommy. Good thing I love him so much.
Other than spitting up a lot, this one has been my little angel. He loves to eat, adores his mommy, and goes down for his naps easily. He's now almost 18 lbs and he's 29 inches. That means he's long and skinny. His naturally crazy hair is the topic of conversation with many strangers.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

We're all ready for the holidays here. Here's Rex sporting his oh-so-natural-camera-smile. This is our little tree for our sentimental ornaments.
Here's our big tree we brought home last weekend. I finally finished decorating it. It has all white and green ornaments that my mom helped me make a couple years ago.
Then, I framed a bunch of pictures of Christ to put on the tree. I really want Rex to know what Christmas is all about. I kind of like the fact that he doesn't know who Santa is yet.
Here she is!
We strung some bells, bows, and snowflakes on the banisters.
The house now has that Christmas smell. I love it.
