Catch Me If You Can

Rex is now a lot harder to catch and he's into everything.

One of his recent things is pointing. He loves to point to exactly what he wants and then wait for you to get it for him. If this keeps working he might never have to speak.

On the move under the table.
He loves the dryer. He talks into it while I load it. I finally let him see it from the inside today. His tongue is out a little in all these pictures because that's the exact face he makes every time he's getting into things.
Stairs are his favorite, but definitely not mine.
He loves eating anything he sees us eating - especially on his own.
Drawers are also amazing fun.
Here he is using his truck as a walker. I just wish he knew how to steer it. That would make my job a whole lot easier.

Here's a quick look at his "I'm ticked at you" look. It involves a scrunched up nose and a lot of sniffing. I'm pretty sure I know where he gets it from. Jeff does the same thing (minus the sniffing).

So, that pretty much sums up what my day is like - a lot of chasing. And to think - I thought I was done chasing men after I caught Jeff!

Chocolate Malts on the House

I have lots of memories of my mom making us chocolate malts on Sunday nights. Yum! Tonight we headed over to the Harlines and made some there. Who doesn't like a good malt?

My New Ride!!!

I begged Jeff to let me get my b-day present early. You see, I really wanted a bike so I could ride around with Rex in a bike trailer. I'm not a jogger, so the whole jogging stroller thing doesn't interest me. However, I had this vision of us on family bike rides and I figured that if I got one now I could use it all summer. Well, today we picked her up. I think I might even name her.

Here are Rex's new wheels. Jeff pulled him tonight on our test drive so I could get used to my new wheels. (Plus, if Jeff has to haul Rex, then I have a better chance at keeping up with him.)
Here she is. She's even pink. Maybe I'll name her the flamingo. We'll see. One thing is for sure...we're going to be great friends!

The Lollipop Photoshoot

I saw this $1 lollipop at Wal-mart the other day and thought it would make for some cute photos. (Not only cute colors, but also a good way to get Rex to sit still!) I decided to try my hand at photography. (Cassie let me borrow her nice camera.) Here's my little sweet tooth.

"Are you going to let me eat the whole thing?"
He got a little too slap-happy, but not before I got to take a lot of pics. There's just something about teeny-tiny converse sneakers with argyle socks. I wish I could keep him small!

Father's Day

My Movin' Machine

My little man is on the move like never before! Just like everyone warns you, he is into EVERYTHING!!! Yesterday's highpoint was licking the toilet seat and I know it's only going to get worse. Though he can be a little monster at times, he's my monster and I'm crazy about him!

Oreos - Take Two

Rex got a second chance at an oreo today and he redeemed himself. This time he really got into it and made a big 'ol mess. We're preping him for his birthday cake. I think he's ready.
