A Few Cute Pictures

Last weekend we were with all of Jeff's side of the family and I got to snap a few pictures, too.  Here are my favorites from the day.

Kate and Brecken

Little Brecken is growing up super fast!  Isn't she adorable?

I even got a good one of these two love birds.  I love this picture.

He's 3. He's really 3.

Well, he did it.  He turned three yesterday.  He did however promise to stop growing after he turned 3.  Here he is in all his mustache glory.  I love this kid.

This little guy here loves the piano and any form of music.

He's pretty content to tickle the ivories for quite a while.

I think he's ready for his first concert.  Who's coming?

Happy Father's Day

Dear Dad,

Thank you for indulging me in my crazy big ideas, in your crazy big ideas, and in a lot of dessert.  I sure miss you!  Can't wait to squeeze you and then watch you hold my boys.  I love you so much!  Happy Father's Day!

Buddies

Rex has the cutest little girlfriend that he plays with a couple times a week.  They get along really well.

She's also so beautiful.

They are going to be in the same preschool class next year.

Did I mention they are so cute together? 

He's already chasing pretty girls.  Look out!

It's fun to have a little pink around the house.

The Cake

You know how at a child's first birthday you give him a cake and he doesn't know what to do with it?  Sometimes the parents try to coach him.

Let's just say this little guy needed NO coaching at all.

What can I say?  He's gifted.

It was a very serious job....

...but someone had to do it.

Happy Birthday Baden!

Today Baden turned ONE!  I know it's cliche, but I can't believe he's already a year old.  It kind of makes me a little sad actually.  He has been the best baby.  I just adore him.

When I look at Baden I just know he was supposed to be mine.

We went to IHOP for breakfast to celebrate.

 He got pancakes with strawberries on top and chocolate milk.  He was in heaven.

 

 

I am so grateful that this little guy joined our family a year ago.

Getting Around

Baden is now getting around well, which means he's on my lap every chance he gets.

He is helmet-free as of Wednesday!  He is thrilled and so am I.  Even Rex was counting down the days.

Rex is trying to be independent while being extremely needy at the same time.  He's two and I'm understanding the phrase "terrible twos" a lot better lately.  He is, however, rocking the potty.  He's completely conquered it.  He'll even do it all by himself.  I'm really proud of him.

We've seen a bit of this little guy lately.  He's starting to adore cousin Rex in the same way that Rex adores cousin Cam.  Oh the older cousin chain.  It's quite endearing.

Could they be any cuter?  Here they are modeling some cuffs Cass and I have been making.

That's about it for now.  Life is busy but good.

Finally Mobile!

After months of waiting (11.5 to be exact) Baden is finally crawling! He figured it out last night. I ran to get my camera. I love the awkwardness of the first crawl. Here it is! Turn off the volume if you don't want to hear the giddy, crazy mom. I was a bit excited.

Little Baden may not crawl or walk yet, but the boy has some mad scooting skills. Check out this little astronaut.

Bathtime

This little man has me wrapped around his teeny little finger.  He is just the sweetest kid.

Big Happenings!

We decided to try and ride the potty train again and it's going well!  The first day we had about 5 outfit changes, but the last two days he's done really well.  Ya-hoo!  Only one in diapers now!

The Badster is also getting big.  He has a tooth (and a toothbrush) and he currently loves being thrown around by his daddy.  (Below: Jeff watching Bade.)

The biggest news yet....only two and a half weeks until this little guy won't be sporting a helmet any more!

Better Late Than Never!

We got to host Heaton Easter this year.  It was great!  I've been a bit busy lately with the new blog, the new hair accessory business, and my boys, of course.  However, it's better late than never.  Here was our Easter!

The newest member of the family.  I think mommy liked the ears more than she did.  Brecken is just a doll.

We had the hunt inside, since there was so much snow.

I'll get some pictures of the boys up soon.  Baden finally got his first tooth in.  Rex is applying to colleges.  Okay, I'm not the far behind!  I'll get better at updating.  Sorry!

Go Jeff Go!

Jeff had another race this weekend and he rode really well again!  We went to cheer him on.

Even Cass came to cheer.

Rex wore his bike shirt and practiced saying, "Go Daddy!" all the way there.

Way to go, Jeff!

Easter is in the air!

Last night we dyed Easter eggs with Rex.  He LOVED it! 

There was only one part of the evening he liked more - the Peeps.

Today while I was talking on the phone, Rex was trying to get my attention.  (Sidenote: It was the hour of the day that Baden gets to have his helmet off.)  I look over and this is what I see.

He was excited that the helmet fits his bunny.  The bunny plays a song and dances when you push the button.  It looked pretty funny to see the bunny's ears wiggling with the helmet on.

Oh, and the other day I introduced Cooper to Nutella.  They are now friends.  You're welcome, Cass.

Go Jeff!

Jeff had his first race Saturday!!!  He placed 3rd!!!  Yeah, he rocks.  You can see him below in third position.  He's the one with the white handlebars if you can't tell.

This little guy is ready to cheer him on this Saturday when he rides again.  See the 'lil shirt I made him?  I don't think they make fans any cuter than this.
